Will my dog's vision be fully restored after the treatment? While we cannot guarantee full restoration of your dog's vision, we have a high success rate in restoring partial vision, particularly visual navigation skills in bright light conditions.

Is the treatment safe for my dog? Our clinic employs the latest technology and adheres to strict safety protocols to ensure the safety of your dog throughout the treatment process.

When will vision recover after treatment? The recovery time for vision varies and could be as short as one week or as long as four months after starting the treatment.

How long does the treatment take? The treatment is typically completed within a single-day visit.

Is my dog a suitable candidate for the treatment? We will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your dog's medical records and current condition to determine if they are a suitable candidate for SARDS treatment before approving your visit to our hospital.
What medical records are needed to approve a visit to Iowa? We require a comprehensive ophthalmology report with original retinal electrical tracings (ERG) from your local ophthalmologist, as well as a full medical history and all laboratory data from your local veterinarian or internal medicine specialist.

Can my dog travel by plane or car after the treatment? There are no travel restrictions post-treatment.
